#LKY17 in Hazard and Manchester
Two days of perfect November weather, slightly chilly but simultaneously warm standing in the basking sun and complimented by vibrant yellow, red and orange colors with a steady stream of falling leaves, the Class of 2017 navigated the windy roads toward the Appalachian Mountains (Buckhorn Lake State Park) to one of Kentucky’s most scenic regions. Highlights of the session included learning more about rural healthcare and visiting hospitals, touring a surface mine and participating in activities at the Challenger Center. Read more here. |
